The negative for this 8×10 print was created while exploring the Sandia Mountains east of Albuquerque. Aspens have always amazed me. Maybe it is the “quaking” noise of their rustling leaves, or how the create their own ecosystems. They are special, and enigmatic of our western open space. Capturing these spaces on my 4×5 camera is truly special.
